How to play Contexto
Typing a word into the text box—whatever comes to mind—you play Contexto. Your estimate will show under the text box with a number next to it and a bar marked either red, yellow, or green. The word you guessed is more linked to today’s Contexto answer the lower its count. Your estimate suffers more the higher it gets.
This is why, should your guess be good—that is, signified by a low number and a green color bar—you should keep guessing comparable terms, say “connection” or “computer,” if “internet” is green.
On the other hand, should the count be high and red, try something rather different. Drawing on the same scenario, should “internet” be red, I would attempt “dog” or “eyes.

There is something to do with a ship for the Contexto puzzle for Aug. 23, Contexto 705. I’ll give you a heads-up; if you perform today’s Contexto before reading any more, you most likely will follow a much different path to the solution than I did. Having started with “apple,” “Dice” is the road I followed!
